We arrived in Bolivia last Saturday and spent the last few days relaxing in Copacabana, a border town with not a lot going on.
It does however have the most amazing hotel, Las Olas, with beautiful views over Lake Titicaca so it seemed like a good stopover for some rest and recuperation after our multiple hikes and Mike´s ankle incident.
The last few days have been fairly uneventful but we got to relax, read our books and I even did a day trip out to the Isla Del Sol where I met some lovely American girls and hiked across the island, taking in some Inca ruins on the way.
A highlight of our time at Copacabana, aside from the hotel and views was cooking for ourselves. A well earned break from chips, rice and burgers we crafted up a fab spag bol one night and even stretched to steak and spinach on night two, rounded off nice by a bottle of red. Onto La Paz now.
